Participant Photo: I am a predator!
Additional images:
First photo is of what I believed is a Cooper’s Hawk. I was told I was wrong that this is a Red-Shoulder’s Hawk.
The second photo is of a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. The first hawk was perched in a tree over looking my feeder site. I found just the feathers of the Mocking Bird. The Sharp-Shinned Hawk perched himself on the brush pile that all the little birds like to play, perch, hide, and feed by. I watched the hawk fly away empty clawed.
