Participant Photo: I’m Nuts About Nuts
The Red-bellied Woodpeckers love the mixed nuts and seeds that I put in this feeder and one larger feeder in my yard. I expected the Red-bellies to enjoy this mix in the larger feeder, but they love this little round one. They cling and spin and jab till they find their nut of choice then fly to a nearby tree to eat it or store it away. It is great entertainment to watch.
