Participant Photo: Injured Doves! Cause unknown!

Today within 5 minutes we spotted 6 injured doves. 2 had lots of missing feathers on their back and a bare patch, and 4 had blood-streaked bellied and scratches. Please help ID the cause. (There has been and cat and at least 2 hawks after the doves.)
