Perfect pose, perfect position, perfect light! This bald eagle was perched 120 feet from me on a beautiful crisp May morning along the Jim Schug Trail in Dryden, NY. I’ve had numerous eagle sightings in New York state over the last couple of years but this was the first time I had the perfect storm of bird, conditions and positioning. It was a great day!
