    Hi Felicia, If it is injured, it’s imperative that you contact a certified wildlife rehabilitator. Federal permits are required to posses and handle wild birds. As for the identification, this is not a Gray Catbird. We agree with Laura that it is likely a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, as it has a faint eye-ring and white feathers on the edge of its tail. Many birds are molting out of their bright breeding plumage right now, and look more dull or plain.
