Participant Photo: Just Hanging Around !
This Northern Red Shafted Flicker thought it easier to hang off of the feeder to get food instead of searching for it in the eight inches of snow below the feeder. I found interesting this Flicker & the Eurasian Dove both attempted this on the same day.
