Participant Photo: Juvenile Great Blue Heron

On Betz Creek, Wilmington Island, GA. This Juvenile spotted in drive way and followed as he walked across neighbor’s yard to nearby ditch off the creek. He was spooked and flew but not far. Spotted off a neighbor’s deck, creekside. Images followed him as he moved slowly (and mostly not at all) as he fished the in-coming tide. He had great patience but finally flew further down the creek out of site.
