Participant Photo: Juvenile Red-Headed Woodpecker

This juvenile red-headed woodpecker showed up November 5 and 6 on my first weekend of feederwatch 2022. It stayed perched in the one spot for about 3 or 4 minutes and then flew off. It was seen again the next morning very briefly at the sunflower hopper feeder. On e-bird, there is only one other sighting this late in the season for the county.
