This leucistic Dark-eyed Junco showed up at my feeder this weekend. Besides being beautiful, it is great to have this bird around because being an identifiable individual means I can watch for individual behaviours. I already know where “Lucius” likes to perch and it seems he is a mid-level bird in the local junco hierarchy. 🙂
