Participant Photo: Magnolia Warbler
When I took this photo, all I knew was that it was probably a warbler, but warblers can be so hard to identify. It took a long time but I finally figured out that it’s a Magnolia Warbler. It was a ‘lifer’ fro me, and I could not have been more thrilled. They migrate through Minnesota and as far as I know, this was the one and only Magnolia Warbler that has ever stopped in our yard, and for all of about 10 minutes, but it was 10 great minutes!
