Participant Photo: More than just a bird feeder

The squirrels in my back yard are a part of my observations for Project FeederWatch – while they do partake of bird seed (in this case, sunflower seeds – a favorite of the Northern Cardinals, Tufted Titmouse, Black-capped Chickadees and House Finches – they are not aggressive toward the birds, do no harm to the feeders and only eat a bit of the seed. I love seeing them be a part of the wild world of my back yard!
