  1. I saw this exact bird at my feeder after a small snow storm in Suffolk, Virginia between January 10th and Jan 12th 2025. I believe it’s a female Baltimore Oriole and it is eating at my feeder. I put out what is called Bark Butter Bits which is a peanut butter based feed sold by Wild Birds Unlimited. I was so surprised seeing this bird. I have never had a Baltimore Oriole come to my yard before. I guess I will put out some jelly or fruit this spring in hopes of seeing more.

  2. We had this bird at our feeder for the first time January 24, 2025. It fed on mealworms, Bark Butter Bits, and berries in one of the native shrubs. Brilliant yellow with pale tawny head. Its wings had the same coloring as your photograph.
