Participant Photo: Nanday Parakeet

I have seen Nanday Parakeets at least 3 times at my feeder. Since it was labeled as an unusual bird to frequent a feeder, I thought I would share some photos I took. Previously, before putting out feeders in December 2024, we had only seen and heard these birds flying overhead. It has been very exciting to see them come to our feeders.
