Clearly no one told the birds that Feederwatch 2015-16 had started, as we had literally hundreds of avian visitors over the weekend, including this beautiful northern flicker. Last year, every time we did the count, even when we tried to trick them and did it on other days, there would be a marked reduction in the birds!
