Participant Photo: Northern Flicker Red-shafted AND Yellow-shafted (intergrade)
According to e-Bird, this is the offspring of the “Red-shafted” found in western North America, AND a “Yellow-shafted” generally found in northern & eastern N.A. He seems to enjoy all the other birds’ company,& loves unsalted peanuts & suet I put out in my Feederwatch yard!
