Participant Photo: Northern Goshawk

First big snow of 2013 in October, Northern Goshawk suddenly appeared at base of tree in backyard. When it then moved to the split-rail fence, I walked-out to base of tree to see the entrails of Rock Pigeon. The Goshawk had flown to the fence with dead pigeon in beak.
