Participant Photo: Piebald Junco Returns
I was so excited that today (3/24/26) a Piebald Junco that appeared in my yard last September returned. I worried about his safety from predators because of his lack of pigment leaving him more vulnerable to being spotted. I am glad that he stayed safe all winter!
