Right on time. I keep records of the first-yearly appearance of each species of migratory bird, and marvel at the consistency of those “firsts” happening within days of the previous years, as in this case. In recent years, I noted the arrival of Pine Warblers a couple days before, and a few days after this one’s appearance.
