Participant Photo: Possible Cooper’s Hawk

This beautiful hawk has been hunting my bird feeders since Spring of 2020, I think it’s a Cooper’s Hawk. Couldn’t get a clear shot through the screen. This hawk is about the size of a crow, has very distinctive dark vertical stripes across tail and white spots on back. It is a very tenacious hunter, and chases my poor little sparrows and finches into brush. My chipmunks have been missing lately too.
