Participant Photo: Red-bellied Woodpecker
I was sitting by the Shenandoah River watching birds one morning when two Red-bellied Woodpeckers flew up and were chasing each other around. I managed to capture this shot as one of the woodpeckers paused briefly under some pretty yellow leaves on a Sycamore tree.
