Participant Photo: Red-Crowned parrot
It was a cold weekend in the desert. We kept seeing flashes of color in the mesquite tree. Then we saw an unusual bird in the feeder – a parrot?! Is it a red-crowned parrot? It seemed pretty much at home in the outdoor feeder. It scared the other birds off.
