While out for a walk at the Bensenville Ditch, I noticed this hawk on the walking trail, pet management sign. He would hop down to the ground every so often, and he seemed to “score” on each drop. While atop of the sign, people would walk right past him and he was not wary of them. On his final drop to the ground, he returned back to the sign-post with a field mouse. It only took a couple more frames to capture him swallowing the mouse whole. He was so close, Circle-of-life.
