Participant Photo: Red-winged Blackbirds and Brown-headed Cowbirds
The first big wave of blackbirds have come to my yard. These are mostly Red-winged Blackbirds with a few Brown-headed Cowbirds accompanying them. It’s snowing again – right now my yard is probably the most reliable food source in the neighborhood.
