Participant Photo: Rose breasted grosbeak
I was sitting on the deck and this bird landed on the deck rail. I didn’t know at the time what it was so I went inside to get my field guide. I assumed it would startle and be gone but come back later. It stayed. I took a photo and now I see them all the time at the feeders.
