In August 2021, near Pitkin (town) Colorado the Rufous Hummingbirds shared one feeder even though we had eight other feeders available. Rufous normally chases away any other hummingbird. They were doing this for a couple of hours. I have not been able to find out why this phenomenon happened. Perhaps someone else has witnessed this?
