Participant Photo: Safe spot for R&R
Here’s my photo of an off course Blackburnian Warbler. Not a usual visitor to Victoria BC in January. He hit my window after the flurry at the feeder when he arrived. I held him for awhile, placed a small drop of water on his beak, then tucked him in this plant for R&R and protection. It took him nearly a half an hour to recover and fly off. Whew!
(p.s.the image came in rotated incorrectly, there wasn’t an option to fix it. please fix)
