Scaly-breasted Munia (Nutmeg Mannikin) usually in Hawaii and Asia, introduced in LA, now has visited our feeder daily for a week, in a flock of house finches.

Since this past spring Scaly Breasted Munias have visited my feeder regularly. They also nested in my yard. There are a number of them who are now frequent visitors to our area of the gulf coast.
