Recently started observing a Sharp-shinned Hawk visiting the garden and hunting for birds near the feeder. I have witnessed several attempts of the Sharp-shinned Hawk trying to catch Dark-eyed Juncos but have yet to see a successful hunt. Observed the Sharp-shinned Hawk for half an hour observing birds around the feeder. It finally made an attempt for a Dark-eyed Junco near a shrub but failed to catch it.
