Participant Photo: Sharpshinned Hawk predated a House Sparrow

A male Sharp-shinned Hawk flew through the feeder area in my backyard, snatching a House Sparrow, and then took its time consuming the sparrow. After that, there was very little bird activity in the vicinity of the feeders for a couple of days.
