Participant Photo: Shopping in Rossini Woods

This Barred Owl and its mate are regular visitors to our property. No matter how often they come, we are totally observing their behavior. They spend their time watching the birds as they flit to and from the feeders. The songbirds don’t seem to be aware of their presence, even though they often roost on top of the feeders, as is done here.
