Participant Photo: Silly parrots

We occasionally get peach faced love birds (rosy-faced lovebirds) in our back yard for the last ten years now. Not native to the area, but introduced some decades ago and they have been growing since in the Phoenix area. They love roasted unsalted peanuts, especially in the winter it seems. On rare occasion the yellow parrot shows up. Just one yellow parrot in a mix of anywhere from 2 to 10 parrots at a time. This guy kept facing the other way! I love how they all get in funny positions and make their funny squeaky sounds as they hop and move around the feeder.
