Participant Photo: Sunflower Seed Bluebirds
These are our three sunflower seed eating Eastern Bluebirds. So far, only the female seems to find and eat the dried meal worms that we put out. Such a surprise because everything I’ve read claims that these birds do not eat whole sunflower seeds.
