Participant Photo: Tailless Mourning Dove
This is possibly the Mourning Dove that was recently attacked by a cat in my backyard while sitting by the feeder. The cat climbed up the fence and hanging on with one paw, shot out his other paw and swiped at the dove who immediately flew. Later I found tail feathers under the feeder.
