Participant Photo: Take a Hike

While up to 5 Mourning Doves peacefully dine together often on our platform feeder, this was a totally different scene. A Dove with numerous white spots continuously fought off all other Doves when they attempted to join him. This happened time after time throughout the morning. Does he feel above the other so-call “normal looking” doves?
