Participant Photo: The Goldfinch Invasion

for several weeks now there has been a hugh flock of Goldfinches at my feeders.Not a count day today but I counted at least 100, there were 40 just on the deck of my porch. in all my years of bird counts there has never been this many! I have already used 3 40-lb bags of black oil sunflower seeds, 3- 20 lb bags of shelled sunfowers and 2-30 lb bags of a chickadee mix. I will resupplying this weekend as I am almost out of seeds again.
