Participant Photo: Townsend’s Soltaire (Myadestes townsendi)
The Townsend’s Solitaires come to my yard for cedar berries. I love their simple single-note call. Such a lovely, albeit shy, member of the thrush family. The white eye ring gives them a bit of a surprised look, don’t you think?
