After waiting for what seems like forever, I finally saw a male Purple Finch in my yard, enjoying the black oil sunflower seeds in the feeder. He arrived when I least expected it. I was so excited to see him, I abandoned lunch with my husband so I could find my camera and take pictures! We were so thrilled to see this gorgeous bird. They are stunning!
