These Violet-green Swallows show up mid-summer (after the Tree Swallows). They love to sit on the hot rocks in the neighbour’s driveway….then have to get up on the fence to cool off…panting and fluffing! So cute. They have green heads, multi-coloured backs, long brown wings and white underparts. Beautiful!
