Participant Photo: What a Rouse!
This adult Cooper’s Hawk has taken to visiting my back garden along with a juvenile. I found this extra ‘poofy’ rouse fascinating, particularly with the one foot raised. I’ve never seen a bird do this when rousing before – makes him look very fluffy!
