Participant Photo: What is this bird?
This bird was spotted during the winter of 2014, does anyone know what it is? It looked kind of like a redwing blackbird female, but had reddish orange coloring around the beak.

Looks to me like a female Red-winged Blackbird. Can Spring be just around the corner?
I hope so! I’ve seen male Red-winged blackbirds during the blizzard, and I can’t WAIT for the hummingbirds to arrive!
