Participant Photo: White-breasted Nuthatch take over the nesting box

Yesterday and this morning two Chickadee were attempting to take the box. These two WB Nuthatch challenged them and apparently won the battle. Male claiming the box, then dumping out old material. Mate arrives and approves. Shortly atfer they start bringing in chips of bark as nest material.
