The White-throated Sparrow is a “rare” winter visitor in SE AZ. Each winter a few can be found around the Portal, area. This year we had our first yard sighting on October 26. Recently we have had 3 that have been seen together at the water feature and feeding on both natural seeds (bristle grass seeds ) and feeder mix.
