I cannot tell you how happy I am to have gotten incredible views this morning of another rare, irruptive species of the Arctic and Boreal forests: White-winged Crossbills! These birds have been visiting a cemetery in my neck of the woods, and I’ve done twice daily visits for one week! Today was the day! This is an immature male.
