Seeing a flash of yellow in a flock of drab goldfinch, grabbed the camera to catch a fleeting glimpses of the yellow-rump picking up cast-offs form the feeders. Coldest day of the fall (high 30s) and wind gusting to 40 mph. Not a pleasant day for the birds.
