Participant Photo: Yellow-throated Warbler
I’ve been lucky that a Yellow-throated Warbler has appeared at my feeders on FeederWatch days for 4 of the last 6 years, and each visit was a very brief one…just one day. Had these visits not been on days when I spent hours watching the feeders, there’s a very good chance that I would have missed them. I keep records of the dates of the first sightings of all the migrating birds, so I have been about to look back and see that each of the visits that I’ve witnessed (and photographed) happened with great regularity…within just a few days at the end of March.
