Participant Photo: Yellow-throated Warbler
Luckily, it happened to be one of my FeederWatch days, so, while it’s not a great photo, I was happy that I was able to document this first sighting of the year in my yard on April 5, 2022. I don’t see Yellow-throated Warblers this early every year, but my records show several “first sightings” of them between April 5th and 10th. Actually, I also recorded another first sighting of the year on this very date in 2018.
