American Goldfinch with eye disease. I have only seen two birds with this condition at my feeders. The other a male house finch. After doing some reading I decided to remove the tube style feeder I was using since they are bad for spreading the disease. I’ve replaced it with a hopper style feeder. Since the switch my birds are far fewer it seems. But at least I know I am not contributing to disease spread!
