I found this Am Goldfinch in the snow under my cedar trees. I believe it had been killed by a stray cat visitor. However, I noticed a growth on its bill that it must have had previously to its encounter with the cat or whatever killed it. I thought this might be of scientific interest. Is this a symptom of a transmissible disease? Thank you.
