Description

I have only had a few House Finches at my feeder this year. I haven’t really had many birds at the feeder, most have been feeding on the ground. I have been watching the 2 finches and a week or so I noticed one had what looked like a scar or something on its neck. I wasn’t able to get a picture of it. Today I noticed it was hovering in front of the feeder, which was different. It was able to get in to eat, though. I checked it out, and the head was more different looking, and one eye was crusty. The other finch looked okay. I took the seed feeder and the 2 suet feeders down.
Should I stop feeding all together?
