Not sure if this is conjunctivitis or not. Left eye was closed, right eye appeared to be okay and bright on female house finch. She was scratching the left eye on the branch quite a bit but otherwise just sleeping. Male house finch left eye may have been partially closed but could not get a good look at him. His right eye was open and bright. Taken from my kitchen window. Temperature 1:00 P.M. January 18th, 2017, was +8 C. – above normal.
